‘Are You Human Too’ Episodes 33-34 Spoilers: Human Shin Threatens Robot Shin with Kill Switch

A human and a robot will soon find themselves engaged in a deadly confrontation in the upcoming “Are You Human Too” episodes 33-34. Latest spoiler news revealed the human Shin (Seo Kang Joon) finally getting his hands on the kill switch that can destroy his robot counterpart, Nam Shin III.

“Are You Human Too” episodes 31-32 featured several exciting plot developments that included Young Hoon (Lee Joon Hyuk) coming up with a scheme to derail the human Shin and Mr. Seo’s (Yu Oh Seung) plans to take over the company. With Chairman Nam (Park Young Gyu) falling ill after the human Shin had the robot Shin attack his grandfather, the elderly businessman’s dementia secret was eventually unveiled. Taking advantage of his grandfather’s frail condition, the human Shin forced him to sign off an agreement that transferred the said chairman’s stocks to him.

Young Hoon’s efforts to stop the human Shin from going ahead with his plans also became futile.  A tense confrontation between the two characters even ended in a violent tussle with Young Hoon punching Shin in the face. Given the said secretary’s refusal to assist him, the human Shin turned to Mr. Seo to help him remove Chairman Nam from his position as PK Group’s head in “Are You Human Too” episodes 31-32. The duo even had the elderly businessman transferred to a nursing home given his failing mental and physical health.

Meanwhile, the robot Shin managed to hack into his own system to disable the manual mode that allowed the human Shin to control him. However, the said robot became distrustful of himself and of humans after he nearly killed So Bong and Chairman Nam. Given his worries, So Bong reminded him that he was not a bad robot and that he can still opt to help other people if it was the right thing to do.

So Bong’s advice became an important factor in the robot Shin’s decision to help Young Hoon in his plan to stop the human Shin and Mr. Seo in “Are You Human Too” episodes 31-32. Setting up an elaborate plan to fool Mr. Seo that he resented Chairman Nam, Young Hoon had Nam Shin III pretend that he was the human Shin so they could convince the said opportunistic businessman that Young Hoon has chosen to support Shin. Moreover, Young Hoon and the robot Shin even had the Nam family’s lawyer to change some of the stipulations indicated in the earlier signed transfer stock contract.

Unbeknownst to the human Shin and Mr. Seo, the duo also came up with a plan to discredit Shin’s reputation at the office. Young Hoon shocked the attendees of the company’s stockholders and board meeting when he unveiled Shin’s robot counterpart Nam Shin III as the person behind the Medi-car project. The robot Shin’s appearance at the said event proved Young Hoon’s statement, while a furious human Shin can only look at his mechanical counterpart in anger and disbelief.

In the upcoming “Are you Human Too” episodes 33-34, the human Shin will become resentful of Young Hoon’s actions. Young Hoon will also take advantage of the chaotic situation to unveil Mr. Seo’s conspiracy plans, including some of the evil things that he has done in the past. Laura (Kim Sung Ryoung) will also try to convince the human Shin to live a quiet life with her in the Czech Republic. However, Shin will snub his mother’s offer as he tries to find a way to eliminate Nam Shin III from his life.

At this time, it is still unclear if Laura revealed the existence of Nam Shin III’s kill switch to Shin or if he somehow overheard a conversation between his mother and David (Choi Duk Moon) about it. A scene in the “Are You Human Too” episodes 33-34 showed the human Shin getting his hands on the box that contained the said device. Contacting Nam Shin III on the phone while standing on the opposite side of the road, the human Shin even showed off the kill switch box to prove that he has the power to destroy his robot counterpart anytime he wants.

“Are You Human Too” episodes 33-34 will be released back-to-back on August 6 on KBS. The drama will air its final two episodes on August 7.
