‘Are You Human Too’ Schedule Changes: July 2 Episode Cancelled, Quadruple Treat for July 3

A mix of bad and good news for avid viewers of the sci-fi romantic series “Are You Human Too.” KBS decided to preempt some of the said drama’s upcoming episodes to give way to its 2018 FIFA World Cup telecast.

Seo Kang Joon fans hoping to see the actor in the upcoming episode of “Are You Human Too” will have to wait until Tuesday (July 3). KBS recently announced that it will temporary cancel the new episode releases for the said drama’s Monday (July 2) broadcast. Instead of the sci-fi romantic series, the network will air the Brazil versus Mexico game of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

This is not the first time that KBS decided to preempt its episode release for “Are You Human Too.” Over the past three weeks, viewers only saw two 30-minute episodes per week instead of the expected weekly four 30-minutes episode releases.

However, it appears that the South Korean network also decided to make up for its missed primetime evening drama broadcasts. The Seo Kang Joon series will be airing four 30-minute episodes back-to-back on Tuesday (July 3), specifically “Are You Human Too” episode 13 until episode 16.

Apart from the said KBS series, other dramas that were affected by the 2018 FIFA World Cup telecast includes the MBC series “Partners for Justice.” The Monday (July 2) broadcast of the crime investigation series was also canceled. Similar to “Are You Human Too,” the MBC drama will also release four 30-minute episodes on Tuesday (July 3).

For the Wednesday-Thursday primetime drama schedule, the three major South Korean networks will follow its regular programming. New episodes for “Come and Hug Me,” as well as “The Undateables,” will be released as expected. KBS is also set to unveil its new drama “Your House Helper” to replace the Park Hyung Sik and Jang Dong Gun legal series “Suits.”

Meanwhile, avid “Are You Human¬†Too” fans can expect to see several exciting story developments in the drama’s upcoming episodes. So Bong (Gong Seung Yeon) will have a difficult time dealing with a jealous Ye Na (Park Hwan Hee). Given the said bodyguard’s growing closeness to Nam Shin III (Seo Kang Joon), Ye Na will become enraged at seeing So Bong’s proximity with her intended fiance.

An angry outburst from Ye Na will also result in a¬†dangerous situation that might unveil Nam Shin III’s true robotic nature. So Bong will have to find a different way to provide her robot boss with a fully charged battery wrist unit before his internal system shuts down.

“Are You Human Too” episodes 13-16 will be released on July 3 on KBS.
